Dumaguete is the capital of Negros Oriental, a province a bit south of Manila. We took about an hour and a half flight from busy metropolitan Makati to the serene Atmosphere Resorts & Spa.
Driving to the resort, it was a bit overcast but I enjoyed the formations the clouds were making.
Rushing to see the resort we went straight to the beach! The shore is a bit rocky, the landscape surrounding was immaculately manicured, and the resort blends in with island vibes.
I think these are rays from the sun, but I have never seen them shooting up like that!
There are two pool areas, one that has three pools pictured below and another that is near the bar (not pictured).
And to the left of the pools, awaits the treehouse! Ocean views, you can wake up to a small Yoga class, or plan a romantic dinner!

And if you want some spa time, you will be in tropical garden paradise!
We enjoyed an evening couples massage, and there was a shower, bath, and toilet outside!
There are multiple scuba diving, swimming with dolphins, snorkeling with whale shark excursions to enjoy, my fiancée and I were invited on this trip by his brother, sister in law, and there two young children so we opted to a ride out to Apo Island (a fishing village) for some snorkeling. Clown fish, sea turtles, multi-colored star fish, sea snake (eeek) galor! No underwater photos this time.

Ok before I wish goodnight, I could not resist taking a pic of this. Never have I seen an advert so enthusiastically promoting anti-fungul cream until now!
